In the sacred cradle of Hiratsuka Hachimangu, where sixteen centuries of silence bowed to the divine, the miracle foal Yae drew her first breath beneath the cherry blossoms on April 14, 2026. A living poem of renewal, daughter of wind-kissed Satsuki and steadfast Kochi, she emerged as the first sacred horse born upon these grounds in over 1,600 years. Clad in warm earth-brown and named for the eight-layered grace of 八重—double-petaled fortune and heavenly gates flung wide—she carries prayers upon her tiny hooves. In her bright eyes dances the eternal promise: even after ages of longing, the gods birth anew what is pure and unbound.
